There can be more than one surcharge period definition in the system. A surcharge period can be defined in a general fashion or it can be defined to be applied only for specific airlines and/or at specific airports.
A surcharge period is defined using a calendar template. The calendar template defines the surcharge period start and end times at different day types like work days, half days and full holidays. In this way, if a day was marked as a holiday at the company calendar definitions, the surcharge periods for the holiday day type are used. It is the same for other day types.
